CAP Life Skills Course

CAP Life skills Course brings a new hope
A new CAP Life Skills Course will begin on 9th September. The course – which is completely free to attend – will run for 8-10 weeks. It is designed to help people live better on a budget, teaching techniques for financial, physical and mental health. The course covers areas such as:

Spending priorities – how to deal with the pressure to spend

Budgeting – how to take control of your finances

Smart shopping – finding the real bargains and getting value for money

Cooking on a budget – how to eat healthily on a low income

Financial pressures can bring isolation, making people feel that they are alone and that their lives are out of control, so having fun is an important part of the course. There are no exams and attendees learn through laughter, often becoming good friends and helping support each other.

“CAP Life Skills helped me to gain control of my life. I’ve started to believe in myself again. It’s given me my confidence back”
